The Brotherhood of the Agony, receives the name of Hermandad Sacramental de Anta Victoria y Cofradía de Nazarenos del Santísimo Cristo de la Agonía y la Santísima Virgen Madre del Redentor Nuestra Señora de la Salud (Sacramental Brotherhood of Anta Victoria and Brotherhood of Nazarenes of the Most Holy Christ of the Agony and the Most Holy Virgin Mother of the Redeemer Our Lady of Health). This brotherhood was founded in 1979 and consists of 2 steps, firstly, the Holy Christ of the Agony, and secondly the Blessed Virgin, Mother of the Redeemer, Our Lady of Health.

The dress of this brotherhood consists of a purple tunic and face cover, a white cape, a white button and a white cincture.

Hermandad de la Agonía Musical Accompaniment

The penitential station of this brotherhood is accompanied by the Banda de Cornetas y Tambores Nuestra Señora de la Salud de Córdoba in the first step, and the Banda de Música El Carmen de Granada in the second step.

In this scene, we find Christ Crucified, accompanied by a Roman centurion and two auxiliaries at the moment in which they play dice with Jesus’ garments. We see the Centurion with tears on his face is in a position to reproach the action of drawing lots for the vestments. In the paso de palio, we find the virgen dolorosa.

The University Brotherhood is called the Brotherhood of the Holy Christ of the University, Our Lady of the Presentation and St. Thomas Aquinas. Founded in 1989 it is formed by 2 steps, the first Santo Cristo de la Universidad, and Nuestra Señora de la Presentación in the second.

Hermandad Universitaria Musical Accompaniment

This is one of the few brotherhoods that is not accompanied by any type of group, so it is represented in absolute silence.

University Brotherhood Images

In these steps we find Christ crucified dead on the cross, being a very realistic and direct image of the anatomy described in the Holy Shroud. In second place, we find Our Lady of the Presentation holding with her left hand the dagger of Simeon.

The Hermandad de la Sangre is called Hermandad Sacramental, Seraphic and Cistercian Brotherhood of Capataces and Costaleros de la Santa Cruz y Cofradía de Nazarenos del Santísimo Cristo de la Conversión Nuestro Padre Jesús de la Sangre en el Desprecio del Pueblo, Nuestra Señora Reina de los Ángeles en sus Misterios Gozososos y Dolorosos y San Juan Evangelista. Founded in 1976, it is conformed by two floats, in the first one, Santísimo Cristo de la Conversión and in the second one, we find María Santísima Reina de los Ángeles en sus Misterios Gozososos y Dolorosos.

The clothing of this brotherhood consists of a white tunic and cape with a purple surcoat, buttons and cincture.

Hermandad de la Sangre Musical Accompaniment

The first step is accompanied by the Banda de Cornetas y Tambores Nuestro Padre Jesús Cautivo de Málaga. The second paso, is accompanied by the Banda de Música María Santísima de la Esperanza de Córdoba.

Images Brotherhood of the Blood

In the first step we find Our Father Jesus of the Blood in the Contempt of the People. The scene narrates the moment in which Pilate, together with Jesus and Barabbas, consults the crowd about which of the two should be released at Easter. This paso is conformed in its totality by seven images. In the paso de palio, we find Our Lady of the Angels at the moment of her acceptance as mother of men, accompanied by St. John the Evangelist represented as the most beloved disciple of Jesus.

Founded in 1973, it is conformed by 2 steps, in the first place, Our Father Jesus of the Good Success, and in second place, we find Mary Most Holy of Charity.

Founded in 1982, it is conformed by 2 steps, in first place, Our Father Jesus Nazarene in his encounter with the Holy Veronica Woman, and in second place, Our Mother and Lady Mary Most Holy of the Trinity.

Hermandad de la Santa Faz Musical Accompaniment

This brotherhood is one of the few brotherhoods that accompany their Cruz de Guía with a band, which is the Agrupación Musical “La Victoria” of Córdoba. In the first step, Agrupación Musical La Pasión de Linares de Jaén. In the second step, we find the Banda de Música Tubamirum de Cañete de las Torres de Córdoba.

In this scene, Jesus is represented carrying the cross in his encounter with the Holy Woman Veronica and the Holy Women, among them Saint Martha, in the street of bitterness. In second place we find Mary Most Holy of the Trinity, sorrowful under a canopy.

Founded in 1952, it consists of 2 steps, first, Our Father Jesus, Divine Savior and secondly, we find Our Lady of Mercy, Dolorosa under canopy.
