Easter Monday of our Week of Passion, Death and Resurrection, is a day in which numerous Brotherhoods make their Station of Penitence to the Holy Church Cathedral, from different parts of the city in the early afternoon. These brotherhoods are: La Merced, La Estrella, Vera-Cruz, La Sentencia, Vía-crucis and Remedio de Ánimas.

Venerable and Illustrious Brotherhood of the Blessed Sacrament and Brotherhood of Nazarenes of Our Father Jesus Humble in the Coronation of Thorns, Our Mother and Lady Santa Maria de la Merced and St. Anthony of Padua.
In 1954 a group of parishioners of the parish of the Good Shepherd and St. Anthony of Padua and the pastor of this created a group of prayer and worship of the Eucharist that soon becomes a new brotherhood of sacramental character.

The Nazarenes of this Brotherhood of the Merced wear a tight tunic with leather belt, scapular, cape and ivory-colored mask, inspired by the habit of the Order of the Merced.

The first paso is accompanied by the Coronación de Espinas Bugle and Drum Band and the second paso is accompanied by the Tubamirum Music Band (Cañete de las Torres, Córdoba).

Hermandad Sacramental del Dulce Nombre de Jesús y Cofradía de Nazarenos del Santísimo Ecce Homo, Nuestro Padre Jesús de la Redención ante Caifás, Negaciones y Lágrimas de San Pedro y Nuestra Señora de la Estrella.
In 1981 a small group of brothers and sisters took the first steps for the constitution of a new brotherhood in the parish of La Trinidad, united by the worship of two old images of the parish heritage, an Ecce Homo and a Dolorosa of Granada school, which they called Nuestra Señora de los Remedios, Reina de Todos los Santos (Our Lady of Remedies, Queen of All Saints). On April 5, 1981 they presented their first statutes that were approved for a period of five years, most of which were led by a management board.

Pious Sacramental Brotherhood of the Good Shepherd and the Immaculate Conception and Very Ancient, Always Illustrious and Venerable, Pontifical, Royal, Fervent, Humble and Seraphic Archconfraternity of the Holy Vera Cruz, Our Lord of the Kings and Mary Most Holy of the Sweet Name in her Glorious Sorrows.
There is already evidence of the existence of the invocation of the Vera Cruz in our city in the year 1497, in a hermitage in the Campo de San Antón, outside the city walls.
In 1980, a group of young people gathered around an existing Dolorosa in the convent of Madres Filipensas del Buen Pastor, until in 1983 adopted the title of the Vera Cruz, merging with the brotherhood of the Sweet Name and taking true nature with the approval of its statutes by Bishop Infantes Florido.

The Nazarenes of this Veracruz Brotherhood wear a white merino tunic with red buttons, red velvet face cover, white merino cape and red and white cincture.

María Santísima del Dulce Nombre en sus Dolores Gloriosos from 1983, is a life-size image of the so-called candlestick or dress, the head and hands are carved in cedar wood.

Illustrious Brotherhood of the Blessed Sacrament, Our Lady of Joy and Brotherhood of Nazarenes of Our Father Jesus of the Sentence, Mary Most Holy of Grace and Amparo and St. Nicholas of Bari.
Its origins date back to the last months of 1944 when a group of parishioners of the parish of San Nicolás de la Villa, among which were prestigious jurists and well-known merchants of the time, obtained the support of the parish priest to establish a new brotherhood in this temple. In its first statutes, approved in February 1945, it adopted the title of Nuestro Padre Jesús ante Pilatos (Our Father Jesus before Pilate).

The Nazarenes of this Brotherhood of the Sentencia wear a red and white tunic and cincture knotted on the left side, a mask with the coat of arms of the Brotherhood and a cape. The tunic and cape must have a suitable length, at the height of the ankle.

In the first step is accompanied by the Band of bugles and drums Stmo. Cristo de la Victoria (León) and in the second step the Band of music of Nuestra Señora del Águila de Alcalá de Guadaira (Seville).

The image represents the moment of Christ’s sentence. Our Father Jesus of the Sentence is escorted by a Roman and Barabbas by another, while Pilate receives the sentence at the hands of a member of the Sanhedrin despite the request of his wife Claudia, who kneeling implores mercy for the innocent.
The date of representation of the image of María Santísima de Gracia y Amparo is unknown, although it is known that it was restored in 1771, by Alonso Gómez de Sandoval.

Itinerary of the Brotherhood of the Via Crucis 2023
Brotherhood of the Way of the Cross of the Holy Christ of Health.
It was in 1972 when the definitive steps were taken for the creation of this Brotherhood, approving its statutes in December of this year. Sobriety and austerity will be two of the hallmarks of this brotherhood, the only one that carries its Titular on the shoulders of the brothers without processional step.

Very Humble and Ancient Sacramental Brotherhood of the Most Holy Christ of the Remedy of Souls and Our Lady Mother of God in her Sorrows.
At the end of the 15th century, the existence of the brotherhoods of souls in the Cordovan parishes of San Agustin, San Andres, Santa Marina and San Lorenzo is confirmed.
On Easter Monday 1951, the brotherhood made its first penitential procession, which presented a series of aesthetic innovations that surprised the people of Cordoba, as is the case of celadores with wooden cymbals instead of the traditional bells, replacement of the candles of the Nazarenes by lanterns of Viaticum, funeral tolling of bells as the procession passed or the singing of the Miserere sung to the Crucified by the nuns of the now disappeared convent of Santa Maria de Gracia.

The Nazarene habit of the Brotherhood of the Animas is a black tunic and face cover, scapular and hemp slippers.
Hermandad de las Ánimas musical accompaniment
In the first step is accompanied by the Choir of brothers singing the “Miserere Gregoriano“, alternating with prayer and in the second step the Choir of sisters singing the “Stabat Mater Gregoriano”, alternating with prayer.
