White Night of Flamenco in Cordoba

The White Night of Flamenco is an event of flamenco art in the city of Cordoba, where in a single night you can enjoy uninterruptedly numerous concerts, shows, performances and activities in the most emblematic places of the city as the Plaza de las Tendillas, the Patio de los Naranjos or the Plaza de la Corredera completely free of charge.

White Night of Flamenco 2022 Program

The White Night of Flamenco returns again to the city of Cordoba the night of June 18 to 19, 2022. The artists, musicians and shows that we can enjoy will be the following:

In La Plaza de las Tendillas will be the performance of Estrella Morente,

In the Plaza de la Corredera and the Patio de los Naranjos we will enjoy the concerts of Argentina and Dani de Morón.

In the Plaza de San Agustín, we will enjoy the most classical guitar with Ezequiel Benítez and José Valencia.

In Compás de San Francisco, with Diego Amador and José María Bandera.

Next to the Calahorra, our skin will bristle with Farru’s dancing.

In the Plaza del Potro, Lucía Fernanda will perform again. Finally, in the Jardines del Alcázar we will listen to the Cordovan artist Lin Cortés.

The main novelties of this edition are the incorporations of the Plaza de Matías Prats, the pedestrian area of Avenida de la Viñuela and the Plaza del Conde de Priego to the list of spaces, where Hamid Ajbar Flamenco, Chicharrón Circo Company and Soleá Morente will perform respectively.

When is the Noche Blanca del Flamenco celebrated?

The White Night of Flamenco is celebrated on the night of June 18, starting at 22.30 hours uninterruptedly for about eight and a half hours you can enjoy free concerts and shows of the White Night of Flamenco.

Where the Noche Blanca del Flamenco is held

The White Night of Flamenco is celebrated every year in the most significant places of the city of Cordoba such as the Patio de los naranjos de la Mezquita-cathedral, Plaza de las Tendillas, Plaza de la Corredera, Compás de San Francisco, Plaza del Potro, Plaza San Agustín, Torre de la Calahorra, Jardines del Alcázar, Patio de San Basilio, Plaza de Toros or the Puerta del Puente Romano mainly.

Although according to the itinerary may vary, as in previous years that opted for scenarios such as the Boulevard of Hernan Ruiz, Mother Courage Park, the Plaza Aljarilla de Villarrubia or Miraflores Park.

Edition Noche Blanca Del Flamenco 2019

The 2019 Noche Blanca del Flamenco celebrated its twelfth edition where tribute was paid to the contribution of women in flamenco, with a powerful program of 11 shows spread throughout the streets and squares of the city of Cordoba. In this edition it was possible to enjoy the latest album by Rosalía in the Plaza de Toros or the pop flamenco of Sarayma, to the deepest singing of artists such as María Terremoto, La Macanita, Esperanza Fernández or Remedios Amaya.

In three of these stages, shows such as those of the Granada dancer Patricia Guerrero and the Cordovan dancers Mercedes de Córdoba and Lola Pérez, or the Ballet Flamenco de Andalucía, were enjoyed.

In addition to the pianist Rosario Montoya from Jerez, who will share the stage with the group Mujeres Mediterráneas or the performance of the guitarists Dúo del Mar.

In the 2018 White Night of Flamenco it was possible to enjoy 12 stages that filled the city with flamenco art distributed in different squares and streets of Cordoba with the presence of José Mercé, the singer David Palomar and Rafael del Pino ‘Keko‘, the compás of the Jerez-born Capullo de Jerez, Jesús Méndez and Diego Carrasco or the voice of Rocío Márquez.

The masterful dancing of Antonio Canales and Isabel Bayón, the current flamenco of Niño de Elche, Manuel Molina on the guitar of Joselito Acedo and the voice of Alba Molina, the musical fusion between flamenco and Arabic music of Ali Khattab Trio, the group Alfonso and Miguel Linares Sexteto or the fandangos of the Peña Flamenca Femenina de Huelva.
